$500p donation per class includes all materials, 2-3 hours of painting fun, and a complimentary beverage and appetizer.  3pm-6pm.

Launching a new group here in Baja Sur, Healthy Apple. I came to Baja to recover from a debilitating auto immune disease and am very keen on focusing on being healthy and living a good life, as are we all =) This group is forming around the Wellbeing Wheel, we will have meetings, classes, and events, locally and online, touching on subjects to help us learn and cultivate habits to keep us in total wellness.

Intensive Weekend Workshop
Friday April 20:  4:30 – 6:00
Saturday April 21: 2:30-6:00pm
Sunday April 22 (Earth Day!) 2:30 – 6:00pm
~ Connect with your voice through chakra toning, chanting, and breathing techniques. Release blockages through active games.  Activate your voice in a playful way.
~ Create sounds and music pieces.  Experience your voice with other voices in many ways through group improvisation, rhythm and sound practices, and developing a song with the group.
~ Communicate through the art of listening – receiving and giving music.  Feel the healing vibrations of your voice and other voices by singing singing singing!

Cost for Workshop:   $80us 
Please bring your yoga mat, pillow and blanket, and comfy clothes which enable movement and stretching. (with layers to remove if it gets warm.)

Sunday, we will have an Earth Day Celebration for the group and their friends after the workshop – potluck dinner and singing around a campfire.

“Golden Paint Brush Scavenger Hunt:

As part of the Open Studio Tour scheduled for Saturday, February 10 and Sunday, February 11, plan to join in the fun with the Golden Paintbrush Scavenger Hunt. Golden paint brushes will be randomly distributed at 6 artists’ studios each day and placed in plain sight. Be the first to spot one, bring it to the Palapa Learning Center, and claim a special gift from an artist. Six chances to win each day. Must purchase an admission wristband to participate. Tickets available at Tecolote through Friday, February 9th, then tickets are available at The Palapa Learning Center on Calle del Huerto and at Cleo’s in Las Tunas.”

“Wellness Wednesdays is back for a new series of community classes! We will be meeting weekly at La Bohemia Hotel from 4pm-5:30pm covering a variety of themes to support body, mind, and soul. Grab a botanical infused drink at the bar and get ready to connect w/ community while growing in knowledge. This upcoming class is a great introduction to essential oils as fantastic, secrets weapons for self care. The education portion of the class is free and for those interested in formulating a “make n’ take” potion to take home a small donation of 150 peso is suggested to help offset the cost for supplies!
