Surreal, it is the first day of “blue Jean” weather in Todos Santos, a nice breeze is sweeping in off of the ocean, and I am packing up gear for a performance tonight. The first live audience in 7-8 months, I don’t know what to expect, I don’t know how I feel, but a couple handfuls of songs are ready to be sung and played. I’ll be looping a lot tonight, and wearing my best face mask, and missing all of the visible smiling and smiles. Luckily our eyes do twinkle when we are having fun so there is that!

I have a show coming up with Alta Tension this weekend. Sunday Feb 23rd with Lucas Bennett on Drums and Keys for my set. Alta Tension is the Baja Band of  local artist Mark Garbiel of Galeria Militar (and Lucas Bennett on Bass plus Kerrie Gable on Drums) and he made us this rad poster for the show. I would like to invite you to join the band and I on  Friday, Nov 29 for a live recording session and performance of my upcoming album. Some of the photos from the show will be used in album art.  My last album “Summer People” was recorded in the heat of it all at Todos Santos Brewing and we all had a lot of fun.
This new album being a Fall recording will hopefully give some of my seasonal Todos Santos friends a chance to join in the fun.
