Plan a Stay TODOS SANTOS Casa Oasis

Have to share this awesome place to stay in Todos Santos with you all, close to my place in the La Poza neighborhood, Casa Oasis.

Owned and operated by my friends Charles and Patricia, Casa Oasis is gorgeous and welcoming, tucked into an ocean and lagoon view.

The other evening I enjoyed a light evening meal on the rooftop terrace with friends to watch the moon rise over the mountains as the sun set over the sea, magical. There are several suites available to rent during the Season, would be a lot of fun to stay at during the Tropic of Cancer Concert Series =)

Deets:

“The “Casa Oasis Todos Santos” is the new beautiful vacation rental, located at La Poza, just off the palm grove for bird watchers’ delight and short walk to the beach, offering a large apartment with master bedroom, living and dining rooms, generous full kitchen and a large porch with breakfast nook. Optional is a 2 twin size bedroom. Another choice is a studio with kitchenette. The house has great ocean view, swimming pool with jacuzzi and a fantastic skydeck for entertainment with firepit and two telescopes. See more details in the website leading you to reservations. Great rates this Summer! ☞ Patricia Shipman, pemmexico@gmail.com, http://www.casaoasistodossantos.com, 6121451061, Todos Santos”

THE LOCATION

This building’s stellar location gives you access to the area’s most desirable attractions – from the beach to the quaint village of Todos Santos! You’ll love your proximity to a number of different beaches, including La Pastora, Playa Las Palmas, and Cerritos, which are all great for swimming, surfing, body boarding, and sunbathing!

This area is full of wildlife! You can watch manta rays and bat rays swimming offshore, and do some excellent surf fishing when the season is right. This area is the bird watcher’s dream, with over 400 different species in the area! There are even several turtle hatcheries just down the beach where you can watch the hatchlings scamper down the beach into the waves.

The actual village of Todos Santos has been selected as a “Pueblo Magico” by the Mexican government. These towns are chosen because of their historic background, charming features, and picturesque buildings. Guided walking tours are available, or you can mosey through the sleepy town on your own!

In the town, there are countless good restaurants with a broad variety of cuisines and prices. You’ll also find a range of boutiques and handicraft shops to explore. Depending on the time of year, there are many public events to attend, including an international movie festival, several music festivals, art festivals, a mango festival, Mexican music and dance concerts, a food and wine festival and more!

For active travelers, Todos Santos is the base for a number of eco-tour operators, offering whale watching tours, bicycle tours, kayak rentals, diving tours, deep sea fishing, and surfing lessons.

“Last night, with the full moon, we had a wonderful party at the skydeck at Casa Oasis Todos Santos. First there was a talented ukulele club playing and singing, while others would be chatting around the firepit, waiting for the fish to cook in the new grill. Once made, it was deliciously served with a lemon / olive oil Greek sauce. As it was a potluck party, there were crudites, guacamole, coriander and tuna fish mouses, pasta in a tasty sauce, grilled chicken, exquisite bbq ribs and an outstanding salad. There were also tasty crackers and garlic bread. People were drinking wine, beer, tequila and the good sparkling Topochico water.

We had the opportunity to see our moon and three of the moons of Jupiter through the 10 “reflecting telescope.

Then we had the idea of having another potluck party on August 21 to see the partial eclipse and celebrate the date we moved into the new house. We will have the party if there is a good number of friends coming, therefore we need to know if you want to come. If there is a good group, we can have fun, while we spend the summer in Todos Santos.”  ~ Patricia
